If you get a sense from my website that I might be the right celebrant for you, the first step is for us to have a no obligation, completely free of charge chat over zoom. This is our chance to see if we connect and whether our relationship will bear fruit in a precious, meaningful and personal ceremony that you and your loved ones will treasure. We can firm up possible dates at this point. Please contact me and feel free to suggest some possible times that would be convenient for a chat.

Following this, I will send you a contract which should be returned, signed and with a 50% deposit (non refundable) to secure you the date. The balance of the fee is payable prior to receipt of my ceremony (no later than one month prior to the ceremony). On receipt of your booking, I am available throughout the lead up to the ceremony via email or Zoom to chat through ideas or respond to any concerns. I will start work on your ceremony as soon as we have met in person to discuss your requirements.

If you are booking me for a funeral, the payment of fees, contract etc. is usually all dealt with by the funeral director. Please ask if you require any further information.

2024/25 Fees: The fees below refer to the process described for each ceremony in the relevant section. If you are after something very different, I am happy to discuss an alternative fee.

Weddings & Unions:

My fees reflect the time involved in meeting with you, learning about you through questionnaires, meetings and correspondence, the writing and crafting of your unique ceremony and, of course, officiating your ceremony on the big day. You will be my ONLY commitment on the day ensuring that you have the flexibility and time needed to make your day perfect. This fee includes the use and delivery of most ritual items. The only additional charges would be for keepsake items that you ask me to source, for example a bespoke, artisan handfasting cord or a wine to lay down for a future date. I will always be 100% clear with you about any additional costs before including them in your ceremony!

Funerals & Farewells:

My fee reflects the time involved in meeting with you, learning about your loved one, writing and crafting a bespoke ceremony to say farewell and then delivering a thoughtful, compassionate ceremony on the day itself.

The cost of these ceremonies will vary depending on your requirements but I will always be up front with you regarding a fee.

Travel: The fees given above are all inclusive for ceremonies within 15 miles of Leicester. I am very happy to travel further afield and am open to any suggestions of venue! In such cases we would discuss an appropriate fee for travel.
